No need to be PDXHAT. You'll find a lot of support on this site. We all have brand new hats, not just vintage. Post away, we love seeing hats here.

Seeing all of your vintage hats is so wonderful. It makes me self conscious about posting my in comparison run of the mill, new, store bought hats! Maybe I should start a thread called, "WHAT HAT ARE YOU WEARING THAT"S BRAND NEW" , haha.

What a splendid recent find, Steve. A classic 1930s look indeed.

Echter Borsalino possibly late 1930s and a recent find.

I will give it that, Stefan. Certainly different than any other hat I have. Thanks.

I did brush the snow mostly off. Haven't checked on it to see how it dried.

Thanks Stefan. Can't beat the ushanka for cold weather wear. The forecast tells me I'll be wearing it a lot during the next week and a half.

Great looking bowler, Stefan. And good that you could finally scratch the OR itch. I am pretty sure it is the model I have the most of due to their former ubiquity in these parts.

Thanks,
Michael

A great Thibit and OR you have there.

Intermezzo in Italian week. Don't worry they will be there.

The Thibet (by Ecuyer&Thomas) got its first outing this week courtesy of the lousy weather. I've been a bit harsh about the felt of this hat; it is better than I gave it credit for at first.

I think you'll like this one. Courtesy of @PanosChris (thanks, Panos!). Stetson 3X beaver Open Road (didn't have an Open Road, so fills in a gap nicely).

Bad day, gray and with sparse water. Day suitable for brushing hats, but there are always some errands

Sold in Sofia, Bulgaria in Simeon Zlateff's shop a some years ago

A few years ago there were a number of hats here on FL from Bulgaria's distant past before WWII.
In my collection I have three, collected over the years. This came from London.

The felt is sublime and its fit is perfect, then it is also one of my favorite colors therefore, despite the rain, wearing such a hat is always a pleasure

As I tried to catch up with the thread, I could not pass on commenting on these lovely vintage and custom Homburgs. Bravo Gentlemen!

Furry Swedish cap meets hairy American chin is one great combination, Michael. Looks like I don't have to worry too much about you staying warm :)
Thanks Steve. Now that I have my winter blood it's easier to stay warm. But I will be tested this week as it's supposed to get to -17 F (-27 C) tonight and the highs for the week are not supposed to rise above 6 F (-14 C).

Very spiffy looking Agnoulita you had out and about. Great colors.

Thanks,
Michael
