That is gorgeous, Steve. Quite generous proportions for such an early hat.Brüder Böhm Neutitschein Velour possibly late 1920s. This one was made for the French market.
Fantastic large print dating from the 1930s showing the Vienna and Neutitschein / Novy Jicin (two factories one for felt hoods and one for finished hats) factories. Jonathan the grandson of Victor Böhm owner and chief inventor at Brüder Böhm Wien, Neutitschein / Novy Jicin sent me this photo back in 2015.
Looking fine as usual, Reggie.Good evening I've got a little catching up to do.

Thanks, Joe. It's quite an achievement for sure. Not a hat to wear with strong winds though.61 grams. Incredible
Thanks, Randall. It has the post 1936 label inside, but with the separate size label. I do think it's pre-war so very late thirties probably. Some very nice Italian tops there, Stefan!
That Borsa bowler certainly seems to have the “it” factor. Looks great, and great on you. How old is it?
Very nice, Jonathan. Still love the coat.Spent yesterday, National Hat Day, getting today's ready for its debut. Thoroughbred 10X in...let's call it burgundy:

Looking good Gary. I love that casual dressy look with the vest. Been wanting to do something like that with jeans for goin out. However not really something we get to do anymore... so it can wait.Stetson Custom V (again!) View attachment 301572 View attachment 301573 View attachment 301574 View attachment 301575

Looks fantastic TerryWearing my Melton refurb again this a.m. This hat's been reblocked on my Randal Alan and completely restyled with the addition of a matching colored brim binding and an 1 1/2 black ribbon with a slightly upturned bow...
Thank you Blare!Looks fantastic Terry
Talk about fantastic! That's a nice one! I've had one of those on my bucket list forever! Too bad I'll probably kick that bucket before I'm ever lucky enough to get one of those, and I'm not getting any younger!
Yes, they did, Stefan. So did those Italians. Another great looking pair for you with those two Nutrias.Wormser knew how to make some sharp looking hats!
Thanks Randy. It was in pretty much new looking condition, but unfortunately even with a lot of conditioning the sweat suffered some serious damage after a day of wear on a hot day.Classic styling, Michael. That Wormser looks brand new!

Since about the only times I've been leaving the grounds here this winter is for a bike ride I've barely had on a long coat. Today I decided to go with this old Zero King. Seemed like the Dobbs was calling for it.
