Akubra Campdraft SB (Heritage this time),

Well again it's kind of new, kinda not like my other SBCD, this time it's my Heritage SBCD and well the wife knows I don't like small ribbons much so again today she spoils me with another new custom ribbon, this time Wine 'n off cream in a double differential bow with triple kicks.. I think I've created a monster woohooo, my old hats all feel new of late lol, will take a couple of better photos of the ribbon when the sun isn't so harsh outside... 97 'n a bit degree's today and windy as heck.

The pair of these CD's might see more wear 'n love now....

Definitely looking ready for Fall sir.

Thanks for the compliment. Fall was briefly interrupted by early snow. Our Fall began again this afternoon.

Thanks. Just 19 more years of monthly payments and this sucker will be ALL mine! :)

You always look spiffy, Eric, but today that checkered jacket, and all, surely does it for my taste. (Though I own nothing even close to it.
Wish I did.For some reason, to me, the ensemble looks like you just stepped away from a late 60s Chevrolet Camper Special advertisement photo shoot.‘Course, your super mint early 50s? Open Road helps top it all off perfectly.

Thanks for the compliment. The Pendleton Topsters, are a jacket that I recall my father and my uncles wearing for casual situations occasionally. As far as the OR, I admit that thin or mid ribbon-ed hats are my safe go-to hats.

Just felt like taking a weight off my mind on this Election Eve. At 72 grams the Dobbs Cross Country did just that.

Glorious Cross Country. That is a fav hat! Cheers.

Looking sharp today!

Thanks to the folks who liked or commented on my hat posts of late.

Best,Eric -

If bet your up town walkabouts have garnered many a compliment from passerbys while styling ‘round under the newly adorned Akubras.
She’s not only good at forming the bows, but also with colors and the styling!
And guess I should say that you cut the cool look very well.

I often do get comments/compliments on the hats I wear though none yet on the last couple times out with my wife's new converts. But this was only done today and worn out for 20 mins, though I will admit I'm still wearing it now lol. Thank you again for the kind remarks, she is a wonderful woman (she even digs worms, baits hooks and bow hunts). She doesn't wear hats much except for in the garden and when under the sun but I just bought her a Akubra Hemp straw model (Planter) as a thank you and she already said ty and will do herself a replacement ribbon soon as it comes.

More pics and I must say thank you to her 'n Jiffy, man this was a difficult as 'n stiff dang it all Akubra. Wouldn't hold a bash well at all until the Jiffy made it putty... Now I was able to put a soft-open diamond to the crown.

Have a good day,
Michael

Michael; I tip my brim in your direction today in tribute to the bowler and outfit. I have worn several of my Topsters in plaid of late and am always second guessing my decision as I think the patterns are too. Just too. You make wearing a pattern look natural - cheers. Thanks for setting an example.

Wow. Wow that tie. Oh yes the "fuzzy" hat is cool also.

Thanks Eric. I am very envious of that last Topster you wore. Extremely nice. I think this is my only plaid suit, except for some Glen Plaids. Would like to find more. Ha ha.

And a great looking Lee for you today. Definitely A game.

Thanks,
Michael
