It seems to have been a popular style for a while in the early fifties. Always have a wide ribbon.

Borsalino nutria Condor yesterday

It's a Resistol Majestic day today. This one was made under license in Germany by Wegener, so two excellent hatters connected to this Fedora. Among other things, the fact that the liner is sown in and the ribbon is quite wide suggest 50s to me. It's got a touch of Don Draper about. All in all, it's one of my favourite hats.

Diana antilope today. The brim binding has some wear which seems to pick up the light. Less noticeable when wearing it. Exquisite finish on this one.
