Fantastic hat!
Fantastic hat!
It seems to have been a popular style for a while in the early fifties. Always have a wide ribbon. The ribbon width and back bow remind me so much of the Battersby Fedora I bought from you, Stefan. Obviously same era, similar style, but different countries.

Both excellent hats, Jeff.Went with some warmer Browns this week with this nice Wellington and a Borsalino Trionfo:

I don't care much for western style hats because I have no use for them, but I like the look of this one very much, Bob. Nice flat brim and a somewhat more modest crown. Nice!
Looks like an excellent hat, Steve. The whole combo with the coat and scarf is great. It's a Resistol Majestic day today. This one was made under license in Germany by Wegener, so two excellent hatters connected to this Fedora. Among other things, the fact that the liner is sown in and the ribbon is quite wide suggest 50s to me. It's got a touch of Don Draper about. All in all, it's one of my favourite hats.

I'm more of a summer person myself. Colder weather does have one advantage though: hat time [emoji4]Thanks, Steve. The weather for winter coats and scarves is upon is again (finally!).
Diana antilope today. The brim binding has some wear which seems to pick up the light. Less noticeable when wearing it. Exquisite finish on this one.
Molto, molto bello!
I really like the rich tone of this Nutria Borso. Condors are have a wide wingspan, like this hat.Borsalino nutria Condor yesterday

Very nice Aussie! Love the pin. While I do not always wave at everyone, all of you sport some fine looking hats!
Today I am wearing my 2 5/8 brim SB Campdraft. The Stetson Sheriff pin was gifted to me by Moon.
And here is a Boots up for Bama shot!!!
A great Mallory, Red. Love that shark's gill bow. Hope those bank folk showed their appreciation by giving you a good deal.Going to the bank to sign loan papers, gotta look like you don't need the money to get some! Perfect day for the Mallory XV. I figured shark's gills are appropriate for the bank.
