Most excellent, Steve. Such a great combo.

You can send it to me at...and I'll be glad to pay the shipping :) :) :)

Randy, Thank you! I believe it's original because the P. & C. Habig Wien, Wilhelm Slama Salzburg Hat Holder was in the Case. That is the shop that sold it and everything fits together. Also it would not have stayed in this condition stored outside of a Case.

That one looks like it was made for you, young man!

Missed you, Steve! Glad you’re back.
If I thought I looked as swell under that OR as you do that one might’nt have taken the swim over there.
So good to see you and the hat!

P. & C. Habig Wien "Special Zefir", 100 grams, early to mid 1950s. Specially made for Carl Kellner, Hamburg, Germany. Very unique bow design and contrasting brim binding. Also fantastic pliable light weight - light gray felt. The brim has a large amount of flange as you can see from the photos. :)

Day 30 of 31 Hat Parade: I have only scratched the surface of my collection/obsession. Saving the best for last kind of left me in a lurch, so many more that deserve featuring, but no days left. Hat crazies have a term for how a felt hat feels..."hand". Sometimes hand involves lustful petting! Such is the case with this early 1950s Borsalino "Angora" in the Italian color Misto Grigio (dark gray). This long hair felt is all soft and floppy, she does what she wants, or as the wind mandates. Sold in one of the finer men's stores in Chicago in 1950-1953. The price tag show the OPS (Office of Price Stabilization during the Korean War) price of $20.00, a pricey sum to be sure. This hat is to be stroked like a sleeping kitten, looks as good as she feels.

No matter how long I search it's unlikely that I will ever find another one of those. Fabulous hat, Mike.

Super colour, Jim. Is it the same hat as the one @Michael A has?

Gorgeous hat.

Not on par with the many treasures I see here, but I like the color of this 70s Stetson 5X for a walk to the beach.
Walked back into town and waited in line with a bunch of masked locals for my favorite spice Ahi poke bowl, and enjoyed lunch at a nearby picnic table.

Excellent hat, Max.

Knocking around in an old favorite.... Royal Coachman by Dobbs with guild edge. Dark grey with bluish tones.

Very nice, Joe. Classic all the way.

A Peters Brothers hemp started my work week so I thought a Peters Brothers hemp could end the work week.
