Wonderful LeeI am wearing the same hat that I posted wearing on Sept 5, 2013. That day it was low 60'f (15.5'c) and today is is 58'f. Similar temp, same hat but an older face.
(Younger me in the above pic with same hat worn today.)
The text from 2013 fits for today: My Cameo was the hat choice this morning. The Lee Cameo was a lesser priced fedora in the 1950's, but I think it is "styling." The taupe color, excellent felt composition and clean ribbon work make it a favorite.
Cheers. Be safe, be strong and see you on the street soon, Eric -
Thanks RandallNice one, Joe!!
I’m not one to shun an excuse for a celebration. But I don’t think I would follow the tradition as far as wearing only straw through Sept. I enjoy my felt hats too much. And Then in reality South Florida weather is straw hat weather year round.Good to see so many following tradition. It's never been a tradition over here and I could still wear velours hats this week, but what can you do? Nico one, Joe.

Looks good... the hats and the food!Yesterday, Ohio began opening outdoor dining. For my wife and me (and the pup), that meant the Root Beer Stande. The doggie had her usual plain burger, I went for a double bacon cheeseburger. The wife, however, went for the kill shot:

Today, an unlined Playboy with a not Playboy ribbon.

I'll get to the straws. Not quite done with felt yet.
Thanks Stefan, Bohemian with a little hippy thrown in.It's what being bohemian is all about, David; convention be damned! Very nice felt and the beaded hat band is perfect.
Elusive and elegant Eric.Out this morning in a vintage Stetson Beachcomer.

I’d like to see a pic of you in the black hat that’s sitting atop the Lee box. If it’s not a photo flaw, looks to have a tall crown. Nice.
Veeery nice. Tall crown, indeed. Cool colors, too. I’ve never seen/held a Gannon, but it sure looks proper!

If there’s a sweet Lee inside the box it might make a nice trade on another sweet long hair. Wink, wink.
