Janyška "?" possibly late 1930s early 1940s. The model name on the paper label is blurred beyond recognition. As you can see the felt is really fantastic. This hat is from my May 2016 NOS Czech find.

This week I will highlight Janyška & Cie. from Czechoslovakia. Janyška & Cie. was started in the 1920s in Valašské Meziříčí – Krásno about 25 km from Nový Jičín (location of JHS, BB, AP). Janyška & Cie. was a Czech company based on Austrian hat tradition. Janyška & Cie. became Tonak Factory 2 post WWII and the factory was closed 1961.

Good Tuesday folks.

A vintage Adam fedora was my choice for a morning jaunt.

Be safe, be strong and see you on the streets soon, Eric -

I really like the puggaree style ribbon on this hat. It’s just classy, if you know what I mean?

I’m envious of your weather as it’s heading to a high of 80 here.

Stay well, and keep posting your marvelous hat and scenery!

Thanks Brent. I do like the "special" ribbon also.

I keep seeing your pics with snow in the background and am thinking, 'damn, this guy must be posting old pics from like December/January!

Thanks. My neighborhood gets a significant snow event in April and then we can move onto spring. I am hoping this is the significant event.
