Sent directly from my mind to yours.
The ribbon work deserves a warm round of applause. Outstanding, Jim.

Today....i was thinking about all the black hats and talk of late and was over in Westerns and it dawned on me, i have a black Stagecoach. Well...this ain’t it but a reasonable facsimile. Fits in nice with some other blacks i have.
Lion Hats.
I wish Mr. Lion took a page outta Mr. Fray’s sweatband playbook back in the day.
Be well. Bowen
Western hats are not exactly my style, but somehow this one doesn't come across as a western hat at all. Looks great.

Have a great Wednesday,

Most excellent, Michael. That hat is your second best I think; great colours. The suit looks great too.

This is one of the last sins, then I will become honest:rolleyes:
wl3vv4.jpg

Borsalino "Trionfo" size 6 or 59 cm. 7 3/8 US
2870v2g.jpg

Color is "Niobe" and the cinta (ribbon) is "Bulgaro"
1znvp60.jpg

The felt is green with brown nuances finished with a very soft and malleable short hair, the ribbon is brown
s4tnuu.jpg

It was made in 1980 in the historic Borsalino factory in Alessandria
2w2o2lf.jpg

The proportions are those of the Italian hats of the time, medium brims and middle crown.
What I like is the iridescent shade of the highest quality felt
Grazie for the likes
Buon mercoledì!
PS for Stefan (Steur) did you ever know this Borsalino color?
I'm glad you say it's one of your last sins and not THE last, so there's room for some more sins! I think one hail Mary will get you off the hook. As for the colour: you have me beaten there. Never seen it before and Borsalino keeps surprising me with ever different colours.

Now...if Only i could get me some Church Ladies!!!
Sorry for the poor photos, ugly day and just couldn’t wait.
Be well my friends. Bowen
What is this: a conspiracy to drive me nuts with out of this world borsalinos today?! First Alan and now "et tu, Bowen?"

My first. Indiana Jones, not the best hat but I like to wear it when I go casual. Had a heck of a weekend, my daughter burned her kitchen of her apartment, which I own. Completely destroyed, all kids and animals lived, including the bird which was in the kitchen for about 30 minutes, should be dead, just amazing. we got the recovery company in already, so hopefully she won't be at my house for long.

I hate to hear about the fire, but very glad to hear that everyone is okay! Kitchen fires grow rapidly and are very dangerous, so the important part is that everyone is well. Dealing with the mess is a nightmare, but that is secondary.

The Indy looks like a great casual hat.

Best wishes,
Regan

Both awesome hats, but I really like the felt on that Bird.
Very fine hat by the other Stetson, John.
Thanks for the like; the Dobbs manages to hold its own amidst the massive firepower unleashed by Alan and Bowen.
