The Lounge administrator said that Tapatalk was causing server problems so it has been disabled. I hope it gets straightened out since it’s the only way I attach photos. Fingers crossed that this is just a short term problem.

Last bit of lab work before heading back to work on Monday. This is the 2nd of two hats Tim sent me (to chase away my post-op blues, I think.) The other is a dark green Portis.

A very nice Knox Custom with their Custom Edge brim treatment, aka Cavanagh Edge, and a rich, dark brown, maleable felt. Fits very well and was a good companion on my trip to the lab this morning.

This Borsalino Torino made in 1978 does not have the impressive dimensions of some in my collection, nor is it one of the finest felts that I own, but it is one of the hats that I reach for the most often.

I only use my phone here and Tapatalk is just so easy to use. A great many of us use it almost exclusively to access The Lounge. I didn’t contribute much before Tapatalk and I’m not sure What I’ll do if it’s no longer available.

I’m hoping this is a short term problem with a quick fix. If it’s not compatible I understand it going away, but some of us will no doubt go with it. Fingers crossed.

I’m with you.... I’m pretty web literate.. but it was the reason I never posted here till recently. Also the convenience of having the app on my home screen really helps... BUT adds to addition LOL

The thing that is really disappointing over all... is the long term storage of the photos.. wherever they are hosted. Tapatalk or otherwise. It is somewhat heart breaking when you dig through the wealth of knowledge on this site over the last 10 to 15 years... and how much of the photos have been lost to time.

That's all I've ever done from my cell. When I'm at home I use my laptop and a private photo hosting site, smugmug. I started using them the first time PeeBucket screwed everyone over... plus their ads practically disabled my laptop every time I used their site. I pay $40/year and have access to all kinds of other options I hardly ever use, including photo greeting cards, photo albums and books, etc, and never have to worry about my pics going away unless I want them to be deleted.
