Looking good Steve! Western crease too! When I get my woomera I should come to Denmark! That should be quite a spectacle for Scandinavians ;)

Looking forward to seeing the rest my friend!

Thanks, Panos. Come on over anytime. Between us, I think we can give those Scandies quite a hat show [emoji145]

Very well put together, Panos. Looks like a nice block on the Lewis. Great looking coat and jacket, too.

Thanks,
Michael

"Stetson inspired by the wide open places." I took hat inspiration from the attached 1952 magazine advertisement this morning in my hat choices.

A dog soiree in a vtg. Stetson Open Road (gray felt). Removing snow and ice was next and I changed to a vtg.Stetson Stratoliner (brown).

Best, Eric -
Super, fantastic Stetsons, Eric. And likewise the 1950s magazine ad. Don Draper could have written that one.

Wore the vintage Courtney this morning in the rain. Still raining, so I don’t feel like getting out in it for lunch. I’ll just have some more coffee in my office.....

I put a Homburg-like narrow dent bash in this one with no side pinches, and shaped the brim a little different than most of mine. I think it suits this hat pretty good.

Be careful what you wish for, Brent. Stetson Open Road 4x Beaver Silver Belly! I bought two hats from Bob Hufford. They arrived today. He very kindly added this to the lot, unbeknownst to me. What a surprise I got. A very kind gesture, Bob. Thank you so much [emoji145]
P.S. Don't worry folks, you'll be seeing the other two shortly [emoji4]

There's a little more to this story, Tim, come to think of it. Libs (as we call her) is 4 yrs. old. Her brother, Abel, is 5, but they're almost 2 years apart, and are part of the year. Her sister, Molly Mae, is her fraternal twin.
Abel, being a boy, has gotten haircuts since he was 3 1/2. Molly has really thin, fine hair that hangs in her face, so she's been getting trims and bangs. Liberty has been watching this, but she has beautiful blond hair that naturally parts in the center above her high forehead, framing her face. She could do shampoo commercials. Dad would not let her get a haircut, and I think she felt left out.
In fact, she got hold of some shears shortly after I was last out there, sporting a really short fade up to the closest my barber could get to a flat top with my limited dome cover (I balded from the back forward, so couldn't see it in the mirror). Lib only cut a couple of locks out that time, but my daughter was still outraged. Why in the world did you do that, she demanded.
Liberty's answer was that she wanted to look like grandpa.

Day two in this Penny’s Marathon. Still loving it!

An unusually cold morning... at least for us here in Florida had me doing a very Florida activity... while definitely not snow removal.... could be the South FL cold weather equivalent. Frozen Iguana removal!

Yup.. these guys just plop right down outta the trees! You gotta watch out! [emoji50]

I'm becoming a softie. When the wife used to argue for clipping our young Toms I always threatened to do it the old cowboy way; a boot, a whetstone and a pocket knife.
I got my way and kind of liked seeing their mini me's in the neighborhood. But it did suck seeing my feline pards come home tore up from fighting, draining their abscesses, and watching them die young.
Our Woodrow Call went under the professional knife. Besides, you could say that his namesake gelded himself after "possibly" sireing Newt anyway. If we named him Augustus it would have been more difficult.

Great hat, Joe, but that iguana thing is crazy. Do they survive or have they died from the cold?
