What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Strange sunny weather in the Pacific Northwest this week. High 70s and clear as a bell. Following the rules of straw, I have packed them all away for winter slumber. My custom Lt. Blue Duplex from NW Hats is still awake to take in the wonderful sunshine!

Good hat to keep your head warm Jay. Nice Resistol.

I like this one, but a navy ribbon should look killer with that felt.

I just love that liner on this Strat Jim. It is just wild! Perfect hat flying in the face of the Dobbs memo.

That is one impressive old Stetson Alan! A brim that Joao would love.

Two of my favorite Gannons Eric.

Worked for Johnny Cash, why not you. Killer look.

I really like the lines of The Dallas, great color too.

Sweet brim work on that one Brent.

The west coast weather has been crazy. You were the smart one and kept some straws handy. I like how you have the brim on this one.

Yes, that is a perfect hat for that new coat Michael. I love the colors.

My wife got me a selfie stick for Christmas, kind of embarrassing to say, but I kind of like it. Sure gets the reach you need for a shot like this.
Thanks Mike! This brim just wants to be flat. I thought about adding something to stiffen it and shape it a little more, but in the end was just too lazy. Maybe next season.. :)

Flying to Wisconsin tomorrow. My wife has never been when the leaves are in full fall color. So off to spend the weekend there and also visit with my dad for a couple days. Can't go to WI without some team spirit so added a home made headband onto my Sage Stratoliner for the journey. Go Pack Go.

I know there probably is no connection but La Salle was also a high quality automobile back in the day. I think they were related to Cadillac. Great looking hat, simple band and a nice color.

I think Adrián, @Miamibruno, told me that La Salle made Champ hats. La Salle became Champ hats.

That is a cool ribbon accent, on a beautiful hat!
Thanks DD, I appreciate it! I'm just soaking up the nice weather...

Good luck, you should stand out in the "group" with that great Cuenca. Nice ribbon work (by Mike?), I like the highlight. You are going to crush this!
Ten applicants, and I was the only guy. Conservatively, I'd say I was definitely in the top 3 and certainly the most personable among the group.... let's hope the hat pushes me over the top!

We hit 80°F here today (and in Salem)! You picked a winner to wear out in this incredible October weather!

Hey all!

Great Stetson, and SHIRT, Perry!

Well, I got the Dobbs memo a day late, apparently. I opened it and it read:

Word! Fab-Tastic Game Bird, Jim!

Early morning dog walk found me in a vintage cap with ear flaps. The near freezing breezy temps found me using the ear flaps.

Morning yard chores have me wearing a VS Stratoliner inspired fedora (dove with charcoal contrasting trim).

Have a blast! Great hat for the trip!

A late ‘40s Pilgrim today. It was a bargain hat in its day, but the felt sure is nice.

Thanks Doug. Sorry to hear about that hot and sunny weather you've been suffering through. Ha ha. That was a great cuenca you picked to ease the pain. I had a good bike ride in the peacoat, etc., though I did change to a vintage Dandy Alicante beret for the ride.

Hope the job interview leads to further steps in the process.

Thanks,
Michael
