Great ribbon work on that one! The texture really plays well with the felt
Thanks! This bunch of French hats are distinguished by the very fancy ribbon to match the heather felt.

I usually see Cervo hats with small proportions, which I don't much care for. This one does everything right (well, except for the green maybe;)).
Cervo made medium and large proportions hats until is end, hope it is temporary. When I was in Cappellificio Cervo, six years ago, they have some wonderful hats in large proportions, not a great variety of colors, but felt was exceptional.
I know green is forbidden in the low north lands:)

Superlativa!
Thanks Stefan, these French hats have a lot of allure, despite they are not so well finished.

Second French made hat with heather felt

Morreton "Prelude" color is "Asphalte" Impermeable

Size is 60 cm. or 7 1/2 US. It is almost finish, it lacks the lining but it has the stamp of the shop in Chalon sur Soane where it had to be sold

The felt is more firm than the yesterday Flechet and thick, different bow in a ribbon that is very similar to the Flechet

The shape is very fine and it keeps it well. The size is a little bit tight for an elegant hat

Have a nice Saturday
Thanks for the likes
Nothing like a gorgeous heather!

Bama, I just want to get my hands on that lid and mold that crease. Beautiful colour, great looking shape that I just want to mould and mould.

Thanks, Steve. You need to find yourself one. I like the #1's. This one is thick, dense and fairly stiff but with plenty of steam it will accept and hold just about any crease. I've changed this one several times including the curl. Fairly nice finish for a 1958, $13.98 hat.

I consider it good fortune to have many of the members here willing to provide a home for all these stray hats. Two fine examples, Steve. And even a pocket square in your coat front pocket: excellence!
Thanks, Stefan. My home's always open for more strays [emoji6]

I'd love to be able to find one, Greg.
$13.98! Wow, you got a lot of hat for your money back in the day.

Not quite, lol.....But it was a gentleman on a top hat who wasn't happy when we didn't want to attend the sex show he was promoting, lol....

I have never heard so many curse words in a row my entire life, and never thought I would hear an "English" man lose his accent.

I have to actually tell the story to get the whole flavor of it. I have to say, it was one of the most funniest things that has happened to me overseas, and I clocked over 7 million flying miles all over the world. That's lots of countries, every continent more than five times, and lots of cities[emoji1][emoji1][emoji1], but this incident was in my top five.

I'd just like to have it put on the record that I've never been to Amsterdam in my life. Unfortunately [emoji23] [emoji145]

If our night out tonight at Fort Lauderdale’s Parker Playhouse to see Trisha Yearwood perform wasn’t the perfect opportunity for an Homburg... then I don’t know what is.

The Parker Playhouse is a beautiful 60’s era theater and it was a perfect compliment to Trisha’s amazing voice. She gave one hell of a performance even though she was a bit under the weather.

The theater is currently undergoing a renovation and the renderings look beautiful.
