It's a good one, John. Apart from the rope ribbon it doesn't have the usual "trachten" look at all. Not much taper to the crown and tall enough. Nice!Hey folks!
This Anton Peschel Dinkelsbühl for Disney "Alpenhute" velour is just right for this chilly, blustery afternoon.
Have a great day!

Absolutely! But "lupo" meaning wolf you have to wonder what they had to do to get it to cooperateThat Borsalino cut from some of that same petting fur? [emoji3]

Here’s my newly styled flip up. A forties Royal Stetson de luxe. I’ve posted it here before, but last night I steamed the brim up and hope I can steel my nerve to keep it this way. So far, I’m digging it!

Makes my knees turn to jelly for some reason.Thank you for your enjoyment and feedback on the Borsalino misto from yesterday. I have another... this in the stately Gorasgu style, in a heather color oddly named after the dogfish (I think). Not sure if wild, or cooked. Made for the American market following WWII.
Where would an Englishman be without his bowler? Or what for that matter? Looks great, Steve. Remind the Danes now and again what you are. Moores did fine hats.Lately, I've been inspired to wear one of my Bowlers due to all the wonderful Bowler/Derby hats shown on the FL recently. A special tip of the hat to Randy for inspiring me.
Finally, today, I put on my 1920s/30s Moores of Manchester (despite what it says on the sweat) Bowler.
I was lucky to find this one at a local fleamarket. Almost antique, Manchester made, sold in Copenhagen at one of the city's premier department stores (still in existence btw). Ticked all the boxes.

Spitzenklasse is the right word for it, Steve. Gorgeous!"NEUHEIT" "SPITZENKLASSE" "EXTRA FEIN" mid 1930s.
You pull it off, Mike. Seems like a bowler revival is in full swing.Went to the "pub" to meet the wife and her co-workers at the Calapooya Brewing Co. Had a Banger & some incredible fries. Felt that a proper English Bowler was appropriate. This Dunn & Co. gray stiff felt is probably fairly recent in vintage, hard to tell, these guys have made Bowlers for 150 years.

Thanks, Mike. The bird is quite special: fabulous felt and the colour is a dark grey with just a few lighter grey hairs coming in between. Makes you wonder how they did that. That Bird is the word! Love the texture of that felt.
Great looking family photo. That Strat is to die for!
Wow, a hat with a mirror shine! Spectacular, Justin.
Excellent, Michael. As usual. I like the backfacing pinches on that hat.Biltmore Eleganza again on this sunny morning

Very nice, Hector. Congrats on the new hat. If I were to take a walk on my property I'd be done in three seconds flat! One, if I'd take the front door!Just got my Indy Pinchy from Miller's Hats. This hat is amazing! I have never owned a hat with a crown this high, but I'm loving it.

A good thing we're in the season when all the velour hats come out to play. Another winner, Steve.J. Hückel ´s Söhne "Flexible" "Seal Velour" possibly later 1930s. This hat had a Crease Clip at one time.
