I’m sorry Steve, I’d have added more pics but I was driving. And you’ve seen this hat recently in this thread. It’s the new one I bought for only 60 bucks, free shipping. The Marathon with shark gills.
Hi Max, It's modern. Good luck in your search for a vintage!
Looks like a nice petting felt, Joe. Balbi was a prolific Borsalino seller.
"Corona" "Deutsche Wertarbeit" mid 1930s.

The modern man. Excellent Reggie!
Nice hat and Cockatiel.
Very nice!I think I’ve decided to move this Adam along. I have come to prefer wider brims. So I thought I give it one more wear.

I dug out my Stetson JP Whippet today for errands. I purchased this one from the Stetson Outlet in 2017. At this time they were still "prototypes" and had not gone into full production. It is a testament to Matt Deckard and his time at Stetson. I know there is a story behind this revival of the classic Whippet, maybe he will share. The JP Whippet has all the bells and whistles of a fine hat of the past.

The third of my trio of hats via Stefan. My favourite of the three, though I love them all. A Borsalino Qualità Speciale. Great shape, colour, feel of the felt, ribbon treatment, and overall look. Borsalino at its best imo.
