Off out to dinner tonight in this Hückel Chevreau.

Enjoy your meal, you look very distinguished. That look, just slightly over the rim of your specs, is a great expression for dealing with a recalcitrant worker. I used to use it to great effect when dealing with someone who had stepped out of line. Don't say a word and watch the miscreant wriggle like a fish on a hook. Times I heard: "I hate it when he looks at me like that."
Great hat and great appearance Steve, just be gentle with your waiter.

Thanks Tim! The beadwork is by Gayle Green and the silver slide by her partner Jimmy Begay, Jr. (my wife has known Jimmy for nearly 40 years). They supply these for O'Farrell Hats in Santa Fe.

Thanks for the info. I looked up some of these from Gayle Green, very nice for sure ! I need a new one for the Revenger I posted over on the new hat thread, but that hat is probably not worthy of one of these. Maybe a Rattlesnake Skin....... LOL.

Thin ribbon Thursday! I had a check up with the doctor this morning. I'm about 85% healed after this ordeal starting last February. Feeling pretty good finally. Doing some adjustments to my medications, blood tests, but overall positive results. Wearing a c.1955 Knox fedora. This Stratoliner clone is in great shape with only a few light nibbles. Needs some work on the snap brim. Firing up the steamer right now.

Glad you’re finally getting some relief, Mike. It’s not the same when your not posting. The Knox looks great.

Thanks, GHT. That look sure works on my students when they step out of line. They just look down and give in with a smile, accepting they've been busted [emoji4]

Great Knox Strat, Mike. Even better to hear you're feeling better and on the mend.

Small brims look good on you too, Randy. Great looking Mod-o-liner. Love the colour combo.

You do wear the small brims well. Looks great.

You look like a real Texan Randy.
