That's a beauty, Ken.Recently reworked and cleaned up Wormser. Kinda like the extra leather / brass hatband for a pop of color. Hat is a Sahara color. Had David at TexasHatters put on the new ribbon and clean up the old funky bash. I wanted a slight brim up look on this one.

Black Sheep Hat Works, Steve. Garret uses them a lot, and with good reason. It's a beauty, Max. Great liner, too. Ignacio?

Well, he could bring some with him. They're even more welcome than he is. [emoji4]Happiest country in the world, remember?

You wear your bowlers so well, Mike. Best not think about the 15th too much yet.Today's black hat for the theater will be a 1930s Mallory Derby. This one doesn't see enough head time. It just screams wear me everyday. Nice thin brim with a tight curl makes the lines of this stiff felt shine. This matinee will complete the second marathon weekend of Mama Mia. Thursday through Sunday performances, really takes a lot out of me, but I have to remember my actors are working much harder than I. The pins in my hand have an infection going on, which is kind of gross. The Doctor gave me some heavy duty antibiotics which seem to be working. The will yank out the pins on Oct 15th. Literally, YANK them out, not exactly looking forward to this (I'm such a baby...) Looking forward to a couple of days rest before closing weekend coming.
Brent is going for the enabler trophy this year! Hard to resist if hats like this keep turning up, Panos. Outstanding. It does Steve but it's also cold

Dobbs twenty (thanks to Brent) and vintage Norwegian sheepskin coat
That really does shine, Max!BSHW Golden Fleece. Geddit? Black Sheep-Golden Fleece? Hahaha? [emoji4]

Fake vikings or fakings maybe?Easy to make a bowler look good when one has a beard of the same color. I envy you the beard more than the hat, though. My mother's brothers were of Scandinavian descent, but couldn't grow a beard either. I thought Vikings were supposed to have abundant beards, but not my ancestors. [emoji35]

I have other hats marked "Superiore" in gold on a white lining, one comes from the Borsalino boutique in the center of Milan, this from a small town on the plain, but I really don't know the maker.

I believe it was made in Monza, north of Milan for many details. The felt is very beautiful: soft and with a peachy touch as specified in the quality. "Lepre Garantita" (guaranteed hare) is printed clearly on the sweatband

The lunch was dedicated to a autumn specialty: "tortelli di zucca" (pumpkin ravioli) with Chianti, we betrayed the Veronese wines
Have a nice Sunday. Thanks a lot for likes on the Penumbra work!
You have been reading too much about politics lately, Stefan. Better to read the Science and Astronomy news.Fake vikings or fakings maybe?
Oh my, Stefan! We've had sun the last few days. Cold and crisp though, so perfect felt weather for outside photos.Perfect combo, Steve. You had sun today? I couldn't go out at all for fear of drowning!
Nice to know. Thanks, Max.Black Sheep Hat Works, Steve. Garret uses them a lot, and with good reason.
