Today....a very favorite of mine.
I took a chance on bad pics, bad description and a low price and was rewarded with a Stetson Vita-Felt Stratoliner. It happens.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: thank you all kindly for recent likes and comments i do appreciate them always.
What are you doing living way up there, then, Steve? There's plenty of room down here, and the taxes are cheaper, too. Thanks, Jim. I'm a warm weather man. Prefer heat to cold [emoji4]

My new Yeddo straw. It was a little too small for me, so Ignacio fixed it.
Yedo, with one d, was the name of a Japanese city, so I used to think that Yeddo straw was Japanese, until I looked it up. It turns out it's Swiss. Who would've thunk it?

I still think it would be wise to hire one of my teens from my stage crew to climb the ladder.
Texas Hatters called, my Lonestar Dude hatband was ready for pickup. What a cool birthday present to myself. lol
Tell Herman I said Hi.A different hat today.Halloween cruise in.
Sounds like a perfect day and the perfect hat to do it in.View attachment 187924 Another visit to my chiropractor, then lunch and a movie. The Good Boys is actually kind of funny. I wore my Cordova cap for a cool morning and a cool-ish, sunny fall day.
Then stopped by an antique store and saw some hats...
What a perfect picture, Ken. Nice.Wife took me to our favorite brunch spot this morning for my birthday. Needed the Half Breed and pup-pup for this mornings blessings.

Thats a nice hat, smile pardner.Wearing a Pilgrim OR clone today. I estimate the vintage as early 50s based on a true, organic reed in the sweat.
