Thanks, Michael. You're sporting the perfect good weather look today. The Melvin is a great panama. Thanks Stefan. It is a very nice hat and in near unworn condition.
Great hat, great look.
No overcoat here today. Melvin panama may prove too much.

Wonderful hat, Charlie. And you should audition for a part as commissioner Maigret! The FIRST hat I ever posted, a BSHW in pecan. I had an allergic reaction to the the original sweatband, so Bob was kind enough recently to swap it out for this one. Bob’s the man!

I always like seeing your T&W Lees, Stefan. Those Manchester area makers sure new a thing or two about hats.

They sure did! And to think the first one came to me without a sweatband and was the first one I put one in myself figuring it was just a cheap hat anyway.I always like seeing your T&W Lees, Stefan. Those Manchester area makers sure new a thing or two about hats.

I think it's just more of the stingies have survived. Dobbs made a wider brim GB for many years, but we see more of those late 50s/60s versions. Thanks H&R. These gamebirds usually have a shorter brim. This one was kindly provided by fellow lounger Richard Morgan.
