KimC and I are celebrating anniversary #12 today. Tonight it's dinner at our usual anniversary place, Jim's.

This whippet hasn't seen much daylight since it came back from a cleaning at Optimo. It's not the color I wear most, but it seems to fit the bill tonight.

That Whippet certainly looks like a $500 hat from here! :D

Nice hats today.

Paddy, the Nostaglia looks fantastic, and so does the lady. ;)

Jimmy, Feltfan, Bolt and Mr. P, as usual.

Craig, you might as well give up that panama and look for another one for you. Mrs. H wears it very well.

Bart, great hat and cool B&W's.

I like the Huckel, MW. I'd be interested in seeing what the crown looks like.

Penney's Marathon XXX

First time worn today this lovely black XXX Marathon.

As to age, my first thought was 60's, but there's a $7.95 tag under the sweat. There's no doubt some beaver in this (the finish is superb), so I'm guessing a price tag like that probably makes it a veteran of the 50's.

With a 2 1/8" brim, a medium ribbon, and a minimalist approach to the bow this lid is all style. I like it!

I'll add more to the New Hat thread - and since it arrived in its box, to the Hatbox Homage thread too.

But I wore my Optimo. The only Optimo out of the three I've not sold.

brim is 2 5/8
crown 5 1/2.

Great swoop going! Should add that to Hollywood brim thread!

From yesterday, modern Borsalino (and I'll note my usual complaint about the visible branding):

That looks really nice! :eusa_clap Really like the bow work. I agree about the logo. They should at least use a removable pin.
