Early this morning I wore my Carlos Hathcock "WHITE FEATHER" cap for the Mid South Marathon.

I just gotta say that this thread is so full of stylish hats that even a physicist couldn't get them all onto the tip of a needle. lol

My recently acquired Whippet was apparently bad luck for the Hawkeyes.

CRH, niiiicely executed pic. Your ensemble fits well with the autumnal background! BTW, is that Whippet's brim about 2''? It looks similarly proportioned to my own "borderline-stingy" Whippet.

:eusa_clap Rusty!

RLK, you really pull off those Western lids!

Wow, Torpedo! That's the epitome of dressy-casual! Perfect color and texture coordination.

Thanks, Sue. And, BTW, you have described perfectly the outfit's intention, as I envisage it ;) .

This sunday morning, sun was shining through a weather window and, after breakfast, we went to walk ourselves and Zappa the dog in the fields behind our house, me wearing what is my favorite hat (1940's John B. Stetson "Real Nutria Quality"). Pixels to show:

You have a good likeness to Buffalo Bill Cody with that one.

You really fooled me Rusty. I figured with that hat on you'd be headed to put some rounds downrange in White Feathers' honor! Large caliber rifle only!

See? It's that easy. Sometimes even us Loungers are prone to make a grab for the nearest pop icon when we see a certain hat configuration.
Of course we are much better educated at this... :D ;)

Still - I have to confess that I'm all the way with Mr. Tutt and RBH. Great look, Wild Paul Cody! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Now let's go over to the 'Dumbest Comment I Ever Heard' thread together and openly denounce ourselves... :D
