Well, I've been a absent from this thread for quite a while, mainly distracted by my NEW FIANCE! :D But I will be taking a look back at all the great hats I've missed.

I also thought I would post some of my recent lid choices that didn't get posted due to being more-or-less off-line.

This was last night;

My Fourth of July started on the third with an event I worked. Wore a red, white and blue shirt with my Stetson Medalist Eagle. Look how my American Flag is reflecting in my glasses. No Photoshop there, just a lucky coincidence when I did a self-shot. Cool, huh?! :)

NB, good selection of hats. I like best the first one, pretty Sallah-reminescent ;) . And congratulations for your engagement! I saw the couple pic at the other thread, you look radiant.

Gene, simple but very effective (and appropriate) outfit.

CCarey, charming as always! And you had a good escort...

hit 1,000, thanks Gene!

HA the post about Gene's the-American-flag-in-my-eyes pic was the turn over to my 1,000th post. My kids were wondering when I'd hit it...

Gene, you ought to send that picture into a publication, that's a one of a kind home-American-grown photo you've got there!

Oh, sure -- get us to stare into your eyes. For some inexplicable reason, after staring at your photo, I went out and tried to buy War Bonds...:eek: :eek: :eek: :D :D :D

You're a real Yankee Doodle Dandy...Great photo! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Great pic, Gene. That Medalist Eagle is a great complement to the shirt, the flag, and you!
