lol lol lol

Kiltie -- I love the description of your BCF cap. I have a Hannah tweed that I keep handy for very similar reasons -- well, except for bed-head and bagpiping...:D

A bit casual Friday...

so I went a bit western with the 3" brimmed Stetson Open Road...

N-B13, I think that's my favorite of all your hats. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Wil, That's a great look. I like the wider brim for you.

Kiltie, Very suburban. Now that's a "real" cap. ;) :)

gtd, That's a nice one. I'm liking the 3" brim with the slight upward curl in the back.

It looks like you lost weight in your body and face. You look really good Alan(clothes always). Younger too.

Thanks. Yeah, I've dropped a few pounds. Thankfully all the hats still fit! (Which disproves all those 'fathead' comments...;) )

That's quite a compliment coming from you. Thank you. It is my favorite vintage, for sure (but I think it's neck-and-neck with a VS I have). The block shape and that wide edge binding (as suitedcboy pointed out) won me over right away, and is what I consider the ideal hat.

It was even a nail-biter of an acquisition because I had to bid on it well before the auction was over, then leave town (and the internet) for 5 days.

My hat thanks you! They are rare birds. I wound up settling for not-the-best-condition and refurbed it myself. Had to lose the sweatband but otherwise it's an intact hat. Also, as it turns out, the fact that it's just a little world weary looking makes me like it all the more. :)

Edit: By "lose" I mean, of course replace.

I should mention that I have a flagship around here somewhere but it certainly isn't as nice as yours. It needs a new ribbon etc. Thats why I am still looking for a decent one. :D

Great lids, all!

In particular:

carter -- that Society Club is killer. Love that felt/purple ribbon combo! :eusa_clap

NB-13 -- that Adam really suits you nicely.

gtd -- out on the range again, I see...;)

Gene -- that Flagship is just outstanding!

Douglas -- nice lids, as always

Cheers,
JtL
