It looks like you lost weight in your body and face. You look really good Alan(clothes always). Younger too.

Love the Tom and Jerry Knox as well.
Not to mention the drink that goes along with it. :D

They are quite nice. The felt is rich and dense but not heavy. I have missed out a couple of these in my size. I actively search for them This style is my favorite type of Knox along with the Vagabond.

The Vagabonds are good but the Vagabond Kings are even better if you can ever find one. [huh] I have a few vagabonds but have never found a Vagabond King in my size.
I also love the Foxhounds. My son has one.

I don't think I have ever seen a Vagabond King. Again I have lost out on a few Vagabonds and I have seen quite a few but not in my size. The one I have is so light it is scary plus it is pure white.

The early Dobbs Cross Countrys have the same weight and details but have perforated crowns.

I am always looking for those as well. I would love to see a Vagabond King if you have a pic handy.

Once the felt, sweatband, and ribbon were cleaned, Jimmy put all the original pieces back together. It almost looks like a new hat.

Now that is one cool vintage lid! :eusa_clap
I wish I could find a flagship in my size. [huh]

My hat thanks you! They are rare birds. I wound up settling for not-the-best-condition and refurbed it myself. Had to lose the sweatband but otherwise it's an intact hat. Also, as it turns out, the fact that it's just a little world weary looking makes me like it all the more. :)

Edit: By "lose" I mean, of course replace.

Not-Bogart: Really, really nice. Complimentary block shape, in my opinon.
carter: Not so much...I'm kidding, of course and it's too dang bad I have to qualify that here in the inter-world. Irony is so much less fun... Looks very...dynamic

Today was my BCF cap. Probably one of the best ten dollars I've ever spent, having had this one for about 12 or 15 years. This is my go to hat for bagpiping in bars, concert going, bed head, and anything else, year 'round. The one I keep in the car or on the table by my keys. The bill is broken from being in my pocket, and its fraying at one of the seams, but other than that, it's an awesome hat. It's made by a company called Haveridge. Is that a "real" company?
