An old friend

This is my Irish Walking Hat by Hanna Hats. It's been a chew toy for one of our dogs as you'll see.

Now that looks good!

Thank you for your kind words. This was my first modeling post!

My dad always wore it with the back brim folded up, kind of Rex Harrison-ish. I think that was because he was used to fedoras.

Carter, the hat looks identical to the Hanna Walking Hat at Noggintops, but the label on mine says Pierre Sorval from Canada (and also the Donegal tweed label). Yours looks great, BTW. There's something very comfortable about these hats. Perhaps because they're less formal than a traditional fedora.

This was my father's old Irish walking hat. Wearing it is my way of honoring him. It's what I wore most of this past winter as it was pretty cold here.

I got a Hanna in Ireland 5 or 6 years ago. Love the hat but does the "dry clean only" label in a hat made in a place with rain 3 or more times a day strike anyone as humorous?

VS custom

Today, I'm wearing my new Art Fawcett fedora for the first time:

I tried to take some pictures in natural light to give an idea of what the blue smoke color looks like:

I added the feather myself.

J-1, another wide-brim! The hat is fabulous and looks great on you. You were made for the wide brim. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
