   YOU ARE KILLING ME!!! I wanted to go back this year but the funds just weren't there. :( I fully plan to go next year! I have been on their cruiseline 3 times now and have no interest in any other.

I would say hope you have a great time but I know that will happen!!:eusa_clap

I secretly saved up for 9 months (then not so secretly for 3 more) to take The Husband, The Three Misses, The MIL, and myself. With all the scrimping and saving that had to be done, I don't think we'll ever be able to go again. lol And thanks!

ps I'll wave to you as the train passes through Jacksonville. ;)

We get Florida resident discounts but even that didn't help this year. Take some hats, great photo ops on "Route 66".:D

Stetson Vashon shantung straw? Never seen one before, but I like it!

This is a Western straw by Stetson. This was originally blocked in the classic OR style. A lot of steam applied and the brim became as pictured. The crown is unchanged. Unlike their casual Panamas (Ecuadorians?), Stetson makes these with leather sweatbands. They stamp "Genuine Shantung Panama Made in USA" on the sweatband. This one came from Blair's Western Wear in San Angelo, TX. It's an 8X but I have no idea what the number of X's in a Western straw designate beyond a certain level of quality. The other thing about a Western straw is how stiff they are initially. They're practically unsinkable. Made to be worn outside by people who work in them all day.

I'll post another western straw by Stetson tomorrow.

Dinerman you're starting to look like a man. That is no insult on how you looked in the past by the way. Dang, I recall you looking like a youngster not too long ago, then again when I joined this board you were. That cold air up there must be agin' ya a bit. It suits ya.:)

Nice looking Stetson, Dinerman. May we see more of it?

Alucard, that's the first bound brim panama I've seen. The binding adds a real first rate look to it. Another very nice one for you.

I talked to Art Fawcett by phone today. Seems my name came up in his que. Gonna be a good week next week! ;)
