Banana Republic

I'm wearing my old Banana Republic safari hat. Does anyone have any idea as to who was the actual manufacturer of these hats? Were they made "in house"? I'd be surprised, considering it's a pretty good hat. Fur felt, really nice sweat and liner, and if weight is any indication of quality...well, the thing just has...mass (?)

Stetson Sovereign (Stetson Twenty) mode edge in grey. Came in the box with the original tissue paper in the crown and inpectors number. Even if this hat is only five years old, it's still holy crap nice. Any info on this hat would be nice.

An Old Wooly....

Probably the 1st time you've seen this one, it's a bit tight and I trimmed the brim, as it was a whopping 3 1/2" wide. It was more of a bolero type hat, shorter crown, cheap stiff wool....won't keep a stretch to it, probably why I don't wear it. I steamed it a bit & tried to put a pinch in the front of it(it looks a bit crooked, but might be the way I'm wearing it) after trimming the brim down some. It's a Dark Olive.

1st time out of the house in over a week, still trying to get some color back, that pneumonia is a real bugger. :eusa_doh:
