Today it’s a Blue Borsalino day. This one is the blue twin of the two-for-one twins. Both identical Ecosans from the same seller, same box and for the price of one hat. Needless to say but i was elated!!
The liner pic is the true color and the brim up pic is for Bob.
Be well. Bowen
The awesomeness of that hat is off the scale!

We went out the Columbia Gorge today, stopping at Crown House on the old Crown Point Hwy, then to Multnomah Falls. A nice day all around... still only 74F here. Sorry for you gents in the high heat and humidity.

I wore my custom steel Penman and Sandra wore her 50s Cavanagh.

It's a draw: can't chose between them. Great hats both.

Happy 4th of July folks. Nothing could be more patriotic than a straw boater today. c1940 Pedigree boater made for a men's store in Olympia Washington. They installed a store logo ribbon. The manufacture tag shows that it was made by Pedigree hats. It is early 20th Century based on the style of logo installed. I'll be switching out with my other straws throughout the day at our Theater Family BBQ. These people appreciate my hats!

Not as much as we do, Mike. You're rocking these boaters lately!

Thanks man. That's my brand new levi's Trucker denim jacket my family got me for fathers day. Been thinking of posting a review of it. Not sure if anyone is interested.
Johnny
I'd be interested. I was thinking about getting one. I just bought some stretch 505s. Most comfortable jeans I ever wore. They're much better than they used to be. They still have the same heavy weight denim they always had, only not as stiff now. They have 1% elastine woven in which moves with you instead of pulling against you...and they won't rip out as easily in the seams. They're definitely much more comfortable than the stiffer ones I was always used to.

Good find, find. I think you scored with that one.
Thanks Stefan, I'm wearing it at the moment.

I must admit that ribbon is a bit much for my taste, Michael. Is it original?
Ha ha, it is bright. Not original, my work with the only real grosgrain I have on hand. I'm thinking about dying some of it to dull it down a bit.

Thanks for taking care of my need for a blue Marathon fix, Michael.
No problem. I need a fix every few days too.

Phone died on me, but new one has arrived so I hope to get back on track.
Yesterday: The English Hatter panama.

The English Hatter is a sweet weave. Both great hats, and outfits.

I was into my third hat of the day to go out a collect a few mushrooms I saw on my earlier bike outing.

Soaked up that set of clothes too. Did get some sulfur shelf and a small bag of chanterelles for my trouble.

Have fun at the fireworks,
Michael
