Very nice, Jeff. Can't really choose between the first two, but the Falcon Park wins it by a hair.

Thanks Stefan. Sadly it didn't work that way and I was riding my bike in the pouring rain. Fortunately I had switched to my Filson Shelter Cloth hat and it kept my head dry.

That is a pretty cool pug. That hat is the first of the two Hopoka straws that I found.

Great hats and outfits as usual, Stefan. Must be cooler there than here. I'm already struggling today with the heat and humidity. Supposed to get to the upper 90s later with heat index around 105. I'm going to get out on the bike for a bit now under this Ecua-Andino Panama

Have a great Saturday all,

Thanks, Michael. Actually 90's temperatures are already pretty exceptional here. Don't think I have ever experienced something like 105 in my lifetime. You'll need all the straw you can get! Nice one today too btw.

Today earlier it was the Camo-liner in the wild. I know...you can’t see it.
Flyfishing with my Son. Damn i felt old.
Skunked again but the time was to treasure.
Thank you all for the recent kind words. Motrin then bed!!
Be well as you can. Bowen
You may have gotten skunked, but you got the classiest fishing hat. Time spent with your Son, where trout live, is worth more than a creel full!
Ibuprofen is a staple of outdoorsman, at our age. I just call it vitamin I, to be taken before and after hikes.

I suppose you've seem "A River Runs Through it", Bowen?
I wish I had been with you. I would have brought the tacos de carne asada and Coronas.

^^^ Hey guys, thanks. That was the first time out since my Cardiac retirement a few years ago.
That river told me i was too old, too wobbly, to blind and not a good enough flyfisher.
Totally pissed me off!!
But i got a “Hat” for it!!
To be continued!!
B
Addendum:
Today for Saturday recharge it’s Bangkor straw “waterproofed”. To bad it wasn’t sweatband proofed! Nice weave pattern me thinks. Still a dandy grass hat.
Be well. Bowen
