No Fawcetts here so it’s Flagship Friday. Pretty ok hat. Petersham ribbon, 3 seam wafer underwelt and my favorite embroidered liner. Think it’s 40s but purdy nice shape.

Nope. The seller went radio silent. I opened a case with eBay and my money was refunded. Very strange.

The Huggy Bear! It has been neglected of late. It has a 70s vibe that can't be beat! I just don't have the disco moves anymore to do it justice. I'll wear it tomorrow, just for you Matt. There are green highlights in the feathers somewhere.

Seriously though, i truly get joy from sharing these hats with you and anyone else that reads these posts. Hell, i’d really like to grab people walking by and say “Hey, come here a minute, take a look at this, it’s....”. Ya know? I know you do and i hope others do to. To have and hold is hollow, to share is sacred, so i just want others to see a hat the way i do, not as a trophy posession but a fine piece of art that should never be hoarded. Anyway, bla bla. I’m glad to let others help me share some joy. Something, sometimes so very hard to find in this world and harder to keep to oneself.

Gannon in steel beaver with blue metal ribbon. First wear, still not happy with the crease, but it’s the nicest felt yet from Gannon. I also dig how the felt and ribbon change personalities in different light.

It’s a first for me but I’m going to lower the crown a bit and give it a deeper crease.

Another Gannon masterpiece, but I agree a lower (and more squared-off) crown would suit you much better.

Great snag! Is it lined? What model name is on the sweat?

There is no lining. I’m not sure if there ever was one, it’s very light weight pliable felt. I can change the bash and it stays ! Here are a couple of pictures of the sweat.
