"Elegant" probably late 1930s into 1940s. No company mark but very nice felt and form. This hat came from an East German seller.

Always nice to see the variety in colours on homburgs too. Another good one, Steve.

Two hats from Italy came in yesterday. Daniele outdid himself this time. Had to try on the blue coloured borsalino that was on offer here in the classifieds first. Because no one jumped, I did. Glad I did; it is indeed a gem of a hat. Rodolfo (Chamuco) wore a petrol coloured Weis this week and this is a colour that comes close to that one I think. After try-out I narrowed the pinch a bit.

I measure them at 1 1/4" (3.18 cm). From Dr Martens thick sole years I guess. The lacers, which are each little brass pulleys, is the part about them that I really like.
