I had to use a third party keyboard app on my tiny tablet in order to use it with my bad eyes. It seems to be messing up my text, as it looked fine before I posted. Can't wait to get my good tablet back.

I had actually wondered if the powers-that-be here might think about an annual "Shout out" email to all past posters, just to wave the flag, maybe re-ignite their interest, even if only once a year.

A shout out email isn't a bad idea. I'm on another discussion forum which does that if a forum member hasn't posted in a while. There was another one I was thinking about too. He went by another lounge name but his real name is Richard. He hailed from Great Britain and he had a nice collection of lids too. He hasn't been here forever, either.

I always feel guilty for not commenting more on Steve's (@mayserwegener) posts either. Frankly, I ran out of superlatives for his hats a long time ago and just threw my hands up in despair.

So to you and Steve: I love your hats everyday. Sorry I don't say it enough!

You are dead nuts right on, Jim!! A slow typist, (and with real world obligations) I always feel some of the effort and super examples of felt (or straw) deserve more accolades than there is time for. And we are ALL fortunate to be associated with the collection, knowledge, history and likes of Steve, @mayserwegener!! And as other, newer collections assemble, those, too!!
