Nice Stetson. How does the 100 match up to your other hats?

65, the hat has a better finish than all of my hats except the Cav 100. It's about the same on both of them. The materials and sweat are all top notch, better than most of my others. The biggest drawback is it's almost cowboy stiff making it difficult to cahanged shapes. Thanks for the compliment.

I would have never thought the felt to be that stiff but I guess, thinking about it, the cowboy hat pretty much made Stetson a household name, still, the rest of the details make for a pretty darn good image of a fine hat.

I got off shift at the Fire Department yesterday so I hung up my Cairns 1010 traditional and put on my brown Woolrich stingy brim. The latter of the two is much more comfortable to wear.

When John Wayne died several shops in Arizona had Stetson make some John Wayne hats. I bought this one in '80. The last one in the local shop. Vented but nice. No.1. I changed the band. Have worn it a lot over the years.
