Today's class is at the Oregon Jewish Museum in Portland. I'm looking forward to a backstage tour of this museum. Should be a great day. I felt that an appropriate hat would be the Hardeman "Governor" full on black homburg, from the early 1950s. Since it was sold originally at Byrnie Utz Hatters, a famous Jewish hat store of the Northwest, it should fit the bill nicely.

Love that hat! I am glad you got it, as I was so very tempted!

Outside chores complete and I discovered that I am out of coffee. A morning without coffee - no way! A vntage Stetson Playboy was just the fedora for the trip to our local roaster.

NW Hats in moss green this morning.

RJR, i really like the way this hat “flows”. The crown is so smooth and rounded, no sharp angles and folds for the crease. The color is outstanding too. Very nice!
