Super & fine, indeed.

What color be the felt? Black? Looks kind of like a very deep blue on my screen. Can't tell if that's what it truly is or of it is a result of the sunlight or maybe the hat's relationship with the ribbon (which has one heck of a stylish bow, by the way).

Thanks, Matt. It's a very, very dard chocolate with a hint of heathering. The ribbon is a tad lighter brown with the accent on the bow. I have yet to be able to really capture his one. When I got it recently, it was overcast and I never really saw it in good light until today's sunshine.

No knocks against that super fine hat. Looks great.

This Borsalino Como, estimated to be from around the turn of the millenium, has subtle green undertones that rarely photograph well. Today is one of those rare afternoons.

This is a pretty decent hat if you can get a good discount from the list price. Felt is much superior to the 6X and feels like it will be relatively easy to change the crease. Color is consistent and I’m not seeing excessive dye powder. My main complaint is the stitching attaching the ribbon- too many stitches and they look like they are shot in. The ribbon complaint is common to all new Stetsons.
