Well... it ain't the super awesome happy funtime blizzard from a couple of weeks ago, but I'll take it.

THE POLAR to celebrate the snow.

Now I'm gonna go find a parking lot in which to do some doughnuts on the way to the office.

Have a Therrific Thursday, all.

I love those Polars! That one is an exceptionally nice color. It goes well with your beard!

Tirard in heather felt

Color: "Tweed c. 64"

Incredible felt with brown base with yellow of various grade in the texture

Overwelted brim with a brown "designed" ribbon

Made in the fifties in France in the Tirard factory (open in 1843 closed in 1956) located in Nogent-le-Rotrou (Centre Val de Loire)

Thanks for you appreciations and kind words on the Borsalino "Albino"

Nice color. The ribbon on the Tirard stands out nicely. I haven't seen the designer ribbons on the American brands or haven't paid attention, but seem to have been a European touch.

Wow! What a great hat.

What are the typical specs on a Longhorn Jr, Perry? I have a Mallory Little Dogie coming & wondering if they aren't about the same thing? And DD (or someone) has the same hat in the Resistol line, I think.
Thanks DD.
Jack, the crown is roughly 6" and the brim is 2 3/4". I am anxious to see your Little Dogie. There is a Longhorn Sr. that I believe crown is 6 but brim is 3 1/4. Carouselvic posted some old Stetson ads quite awhile back with those pictured.

Thanks Perry. Sounds like what I am expecting. I'll have to look for those ads. The Little Dogie is a 3X. The color is Sand Peble (spelling is correct) & it appears to be virtually NOS in the original box. Should be here today.

If DD is the one with the Resistol I hope he chimes in.
