Unfortunately there is a little icy rain and snow coming to visit in a couple of hours. Other than a little de-icing duty I expect I'll by lying on the couch watching a few movies.

Thank you Bob. I just hope I still have a job when I'm ablle to return to work. That's my real concern at the moment. So the quicker I can move this back issue along the better.
I hope you get better soon. I also suffer the same thing and recieve epidural steroid injection 2 to 3 times a year to control the pain. I am retired now so do not have a job issue. Hope the pain decreases soon.

Rick,
Thank you, buddy. I appreciate that. I'm sure hoping things get better soon. I bet those injections are a pain in themselves.

I elected for an early retirement year before last when I turned 62. I remained on my job as a part time employee, though. Even before I retired the company I work for made changes to their employees health insurance plan. Part time, full time, all employees there are offered the same benefits. Their annual deductible for just my wife and myself is well above $3,000 out of pocket with a $300 per month price tag. Not affordable for someone earning warehouse wages, let alone part time warehouse wages with social security. The wife tried signing us up on the Market Place, Obamacare. Nearly $900 per month for just her and me! They suggested we try and apply for Medicaid. No can do! I make just above the allowed limit for that. So here I am. No health insurance because I can't afford it. What do you do. I can't afford a doctor's visit and I certainly can't afford the $1000s of dollars it would cost for an ER visit with Xrays and MRIs. So, I have to go to minute clinics and pay out of pocket for medical treatment. So much for my rant, I guess. I just hope my fellow Loungers don't face the same fate that I've been experiencing lately.
