That's definitely not a stingy brim, nice
Use the Jedi mind trick on the folks behind you so you can wear that bad boy through the whole flick.

Have a great time.
Yes! Awesome, Jared. Have fun at the movies.

Cool look!

Thanks, gents! I've had my custom band block from Art in this hat but it still needs some time to conform, methinks.

Beauty Steve, Lord's hat with an overwelt?
Richard, Thank you! In Central Europe it probably would be called a Fashion Hat. It's a brim up hat with an over welt and definitely wouldn't have be worn with such casual clothing. :)

Damn....See above. See above above. See above above above.Use the Jedi mind trick on the folks behind you so you can wear that bad boy through the whole flick.
Have a great time.
Matt, Thanks!

Absolutely love that one Steve!

Thanks! I really like this one too. The felt / finish (Flamand - Melange) + form is fantastic.

Well today was a banner hat day. Merry Christmas to me. Two boxes, one from the Netherlands and one Ebay. Just a quick look at:

View attachment 97947 From Stefan: A Borsalino "Angora" c.1955 View attachment 97948 Another Borsalino, this time a "Savoy" This one is for Mike Miller. View attachment 97949 And finally, a rather interesting Homburg from Scotland, maker unknown. The Ebay images showed it much more like a Navy blue, it appears to be black.

More posting later after I process this haul. I'm tired. I need a cigarette and a nap.
Good to see they made it to your head. Like the others have said: that Angora really shines. It suits you Mike! It deserves to be worn and it deserves someone who appreciates it. A fellow lounge member therefore.

Another grey day in Verona. Misty hills and very low clouds with humidity

Panizza Super NOS from Meran

Made in the historical factory of Ghiffa, where now there is the "Museo del cappello", visited in March with Steve

The felt, with no name color, is fantastic as the matching with the ribbon color

Usually the names of the plants growing on Lake Maggiore were used to determine the name of the color of the felts

Panizza made marvellous hats, no so elegant like Borsalino, not so bold as Barbizio, but very, very fine in a classic Italian tradition
I take off my hat to greet you and thank you for your appreciation
Another great one, Daniele. Love the lines and shape of it.
