Like thinking you spent all your money, then waking up the next day to find it in a different pocket? Not that I would know anything about that.

It appears winter has arrived in Funkytown. Wind, snow, temps in the 30s; supposed to be in the low 20s when I leave work. Ugh. But fur felt weather, right?

Got home last night to find this on my doorstep. Mid 50s ( I guess) Knox Superfine. Yet to see this brown beauty in good light. It appears from looking a it last night it may have some heathering to it. Even so, it's weathering the storm OK.

Happy Tuesday all!

I love it, Jim!

That bow is a Superfine touch. I look forward to seeing the close ups.

Relish the felt weather. Summer will be here before we know it.

On the forgetfulness thing... When I get out of my car, I've recently found myself standing around for a long time, repeatedly checking all of my pockets and carefully looking into my car. So far, I haven't forgotten anything. But for some reason, I always am quite certain that I am leaving something very crucial behind. Yeah... Like I have anything crucial anyway!!! (Except my hat, of course.)

It's been uncommonly cold, it may get here to 0 Celsius at 5 am, but, normally, it gets to 20 by noon, this days the high has been 10 Celsius and, over that I got a bad cold...got to stay warm.

Great snowy shots. That is one fine Superfine Jim. Looks like the sweat is in good shape. I'll be looking for detail shots.

You are the king of black hats my friend! Nice Borsalino.

Very cold tuesday here in the ohio valley. Black sheep hat works to warm my bald noggin

Navy Borso this morning.
One of my favorites Bob. Love Navy hats.

Way to show solidarity with the shivering masses here on the Lounge. The idea of your tropical paradise with frost on it is an interesting image in my head.

Very sweet brim on that Stetson Richard. It looks 2 1/2" or better. Impressive.

The snow started on Sunday afternoon and continued until morning, then, the temperature rose and it rained all day, so no photographs of hats.
Today gray and relatively warm for the period
15hbv3k.jpg

Borsalino Colombo in velour with brim finished with three seams
nxtgug.jpg

The color is "Rutenio" and the ribbon "Asfalto"
15dtov7.jpg

The felt is particularly soft and can be easily shaped
33wsdnl.jpg

When it arrived I thought for half a day of having done a bad deal
14mdl0.jpg

Patience, distilled water, sponge, steam and brush made it new.
I am very satisfied because it is rare to find a Borsalino in velour here in Italy

Thank you for your last week's appreciation
Time permitting tomorrow we will meet again with a series of hats with short hair or velour, I found the right box;)

Beautiful finish in that velour. I absolutely love that brim stitching. One of your nicest of late Daniele. Enjoyed this one a great deal.
