Two words about Bob and his punishment.
Every country has its sense of satire and humor, so far from discussing the meaning of what the common sense of decency in irony on this forum, but I need to understand. Something escaped me from the situation. I saw the video and the woman (a public figure) that appears in it Bob has used for his irony. That said I did not understand the link between the photo and his expulsion from FB. Does anyone help me?

Yeah... wacky times. It is remarkable to me how much of an emotional interest in the well-being of familiar fellow Loungers (and the Lounge in general) that I have developed. Even when I was on my recent personal crisis sabbatical, I thought about folks regularly and (God bless, 'em) a bunch of folks reached out to see how I was doing. Fundamentally, it's a good community and full of good people... good friends.

I hope that we are provided some information and resolution soon. I am uncomfortable with the "I don't really know what is going on" feeling, and I feel bad for our missing comrade and all the other folks upset by the situation. Life outside the Lounge has too much drama. Nobody wants or needs it here.

Hopefully, folks will do the right thing (whatever the heck that is) and things here can return to the normal, mellow, fun Loungenessitude as soon as possible.

At the risk of getting another Bob into trouble (me!) is it realistic to ask for a public explanation for the "why" of the suspension? If for no other reason to make the rules more explicit so I am fore warned and better equipped to avoid a suspension for myself. So for the sake of health of this community that I value I request a word or two from the moderator shedding light on this. If not, we risk a further fracturing of the community and I am sure that is not the intent of the moderator.

In a nutshell, Bob shot himself in the foot here. There was more going on then what most here would be able to know. One bartender was already attempting to smooth things out and in the middle of all that, he re-posted what was already removed. So then as things went, there was no choice but for Bob to be banned. It was not the first run in with bartenders and all the bartenders have to respect the decisions of each other no matter what.

I will defend anyone on the lounge for the best of things and yes, I may have not felt what Bob did was so wrong, yet I am not fully aware of all the episodes of wrongs that brought things into such a bad way.
