Monday dedicated to the first hat arrived in the third Italy-Holland exchange. THANKS Stefan

Borsalino Qualità Suprema. I have/had some other. One travelled to Oregon some months ago

"Bismuto" is the color and it was made in 1977. Felt is a medium stiff for the Borsalino standard.

Size is 6 1/2 French or 7 1/2 US, perfect for my head

Contrasting ribbon, not so easy to find in Borsalino here in Europe

I had some doubts to have it, but now I'm very happy of the choice

Formal clothing for a couple of meetings with homburg Mossant de Luxe

Black with very "thin" crown with very curled brims

It was probably produced at the end of World War II

The felt is very soft and malleable. Bought for shape, it's not my size, but it's perfect. Mysteries of the sizes

I thank you heartily for your yesterday likes on Borsalino from Dutch land

In keeping with my different hat for each class session, I travel to Portland State today in my San Francisco Hatters low crown 1918 styled fedora. I forgot how nice the felt is on this one. Rich and supple, brim is not too stingy, over 2". Mike Miller and I came up with a side dent and gully crease that looks like one you would see in a crowd photo in the early century. I've tried a crease clip but it pulled the sides out too much.

Beautiful French homburg Daniele. I love the curl of the brim. Would this be considered a "Diplomatique" like the one you sent me?
