Great wedding photos. At weddings you often see the ladies wearing a hat, even if it's a small fascinator, but the fellows, not a hat amongst them. When my Godson got married in the summer of 2016, I was the only hat wearing guy there. My wife and I had sent the bride and groom some photos of the kind of clothes we wear. They both loved my grey double breasted suit. What flattery.
After the wedding service and before the reception began, the bride and groom had guests pose with them. When it came to our turn I said to Lucy, the bride: "With or without the hat?" "WITH!" She said emphatically. I can't remember seeing this photo among their wedding album, that's the one that the official photographer took, but this candid shot, by the groom's mother captures the moment perfectly.

Well, that's a whole 'nother matter, indeed. I've been in that situation myself. However, an employer who would demand such a thing of me, especially in my profession, would not have me as an employee. I was once fired from a job at - get this - a record store and head shop, because I wouldn't cut my hair. And it was actually shorter than the day they hired me. And the owner assaulted me on my way out the door after I was fired.

Good times.

That does sound like a unique job indeed.

I once got the comment on a job interview that I looked too much like barbie to be able to do it.
To say I walked out of there angry is an understatement.

Needless to say, the fellow who owned the place was a bit of a jerk. [emoji4]

But now, it gets filed away under "great stories of my youth."

And now, I wouldn't grow my hair back because it would get in the way of my hat!

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

I would know anything about hair getting in the way of anything ;)

I remember being torn between smacking him in the mouth and saying thank you.

Good afternoon. Chores had me out cutting wood. I started wearing a Gannon (granite felt hue), but switched to a knit cap to fight the cool temps. Gannon beaver hats handle the effort well, but not the coverage under ear protection of the knit cap.
