Yeah it's a weird quirk about mine where the edge binding isn't all nice and geometrically satisfying. But I don't want to replace the original ribbon... So I have to just shrug this one off methinks

Off topic maybe, but Anthony Fokker knew how to wear a fine hat too. He wore this on this very day in 1923 (made that up, but who knows?).

One of my heroes of the Great War. He didn't compromise his beliefs during the build up to WW2 and moved home to the Netherlands. By the mid 1920s he was in America...wearing this hat I'm sure. Might have to make a replica of this one. Mike Miller may have a new commission...

Two hat day today. This morning for class in Portland I wore my Borsalino Qualità Victoria c1970. Tonight, a birthday dinner for my mother-in-law. The Knox Premier Strat Clone will get an outing....mmmmmmm steak....
