Hey all!
This Mayser is the choice for a smoky Tuesday.

The wildfires burning across Northern California's wine country have been making the air hazy and a little hard to breathe at times, but so far we on the coast have been spared from the flames. I hope all those still in the path of the fires can get out safely.

Have a great day!

Glad to hear you have been spared the devastation John. I was thinking of you today. Good to see you and that beautiful Homburg.

What a great hat. Thank you for sharing. As always, the ensemble is top notch and all matches your style. V-neck sweater, raw denim, Harris Tweed sports coat, Red Wing boots(?), and a 60-70 year old Stetson. Wow!
I would have thought that a hat that light would not mesh well, but seeing it on you it's very nice indeed. I love the look of cream and Silverbelly hats, but I'm usually reluctant to wear them.
Thanks DH. Sometimes you just have to try it. I thought your blue/navy hat looked good with the jacket today. Though the jacket looked almost charcoal on my monitor, or to my eyes.

Very striking.
Thanks Bill. You've been pulling out a lot of nice hats lately.

I'm hoping not at least for another couple of months:eek:
A couple of months???

Heavy Shetland wool and about right for the 50 degrees with rain.

Somehow that is a daring colour. It does have a lot of flair. Like it.
Thanks. It is a somewhat unusual color. But I'm quite fond of the hat.

Lots of rain today. I was under an oiled cotton hat again. It did an admirable job of keeping my head warm and dry while I was out on the bike.

That's after about an hour of outside time during which most of an inch of rain fell on me.

Thanks all,
Michael
