I like them too, Harv. And I just found out over on the Western thread that it must be from the Longhorn series of hats, going by the pin. The sweat isn't original, so no info there.

Thinking of Matt today, decided the Mossant Diplomatique c1935 would be appropriate. Love this hat, it is an Italian/French connection to the Pacific Northwest via @Daniele Tanto Everyone should have a homburgerific day!

What a great hat. Thank you for sharing. As always, the ensemble is top notch and all matches your style. V-neck sweater, raw denim, Harris Tweed sports coat, Red Wing boots(?), and a 60-70 year old Stetson. Wow!
I would have thought that a hat that light would not mesh well, but seeing it on you it's very nice indeed. I love the look of cream and Silverbelly hats, but I'm usually reluctant to wear them.

Nice, we all need a beater. Of course the "beaters" that @Short Balding Guy wears are show pieces, even when clearing brush. Interior shots of the liner would be appreciated. I kind of like these jobber hats, they tell an interesting story of hatmaking in the 50s/early 60s.
