Dd, thank you so much. I have two of these 25's with this one being the oldest by far. Verdigris had gotten to it at the brass ferrule and rotted the original hat band and wind trolley. Couldn't find any matching replacements. Now glad I couldn't.

Vintage Royal Stetson today. Nice to see how this one changes from grey to almost blue smoke depending on the light... even changing the direction of the hat in the same light throws off the blues.
