This Stetson is a cousin to mine, great felt and brim width. Love the Ike Jacket (?) does it have a story.
Thanks Red. It's a decent hat, but I cooked the sweat when I was out biking early in the summer. My head runs too hot for these old sweatbands. Still fits fine and is comfortable enough to wear though so it gets bicycling duty. I imagine the Ike jacket has a story as it was delivered to the Quartermaster in 1945 and was issued. But I don't know that story. I originally got it so I could study the construction details and see if I could knock out a couple of copies in other materials than OD serge.

My first attempt at a cattleman on this old tan Gannon. Came out more like a brick but at least I creased something other than a teardrop for once!

I like the crease more than I would have thought. I like that you aren't afraid to experiment.

Have a great Thursday,
Michael

Your style works well for you. All the pieces flow and give you a unique classic look. I particularly like the striped trousers and boots.

Borsalino on my way to an invite to the London Symphony Orchestra (not been to a concert in a long time).

Having trouble with Tapatalk and logging in so not sure this will post.

Got sucked into Guys and Dolls (1955) randomly on TV late at night; some great hats. Haven’t seen that since 1988.

You will be the most classy guy in the crowd with that beautiful Borsalino.

Embrace the stingy Karl. Very "rat pack" looking.
