Righteous crown height Justin. Love this one a lot.

Cool, it does look out of place. What diameter do you think it would be?

The '47 is another of my favorites of yours. The contrast of the thin brown ribbon is what draws me to this hat.

It must feel great to trot out the new ones! This hat is really special.

Doug and I are waiting patiently for your arrival! You couldn't make through the Columbia Gorge right now anyway, Cascade Locks are burning down, fire on both sides of the river.

Beautiful colors and pattern.

Perfect hat for the Mt. Angel Octoberfest, you will fit right in. We have no sun, there was a slight hint of a pink spot, but it went away. Not much ash in Albany, but it is coming. Jeremy could not make it through the gorge anyway, it will be closed for a while I'm afraid.
I am chomping at the bit to get over there and see family and meet you and Doug in person as well! Not to mention take a tour of Mike Miller's place! We have talked enough over the phone and I have a few little projects to drop off for him as well. I should be getting close to being up on his waiting list as well :)

Strangely hot days this week and the wife told me to mow the lawn in this 30 degree temperature.

Thanks Justin. Everything goes better with a Whippet. Your plasti-felt Mallory today is pretty amazing. How heavy is it?

A wonderful Whippet for Wednesday!!! :) You always look fantastic sir.
Thanks Jeremy. I seldom seem to remember Whippet Wednesday. Maybe because I only have one. Or because I have too many other hats. Did I just say that? Nah. It should be showing up more regularly now that it's felt weather every day.

Thanks all,
Michael

That is one fine Dobbs, rich color and nice looking "15" felt. Like it.

Mad Dogs and Englishmen! Or at least puppies and Canadians in Pith Helmets. Looks good though.

Tonight to work I wore my new (to me) Penman dark moss. This arrived from fellow lounger FedOregon and I couldn't wait. Just had to give it try.

I have always admired that Penman. Happy to see it go to a good head home.

Michael,

I don't have a scale to properly weigh it, but I can say that compared to my 1940s Stetson Stetsonian, the Mallory is noticably lighter. Compared to my 30s Stetson featherweight, the Mallory is heavier... not the best idea but its the best i can give
