Nice!! Is that the "patron" crease? It looks great. What is the brim width? I definitely covet this hat =)

Yeah. There are! However, with a noggin size of 7 1/2, they are rare as hen's teeth! :) Considered seeking one and upsizing as well but not too many in gray that are 'reasonable' in price! The one you sport is definitely you!

Thanks so much -- Now that this Borsa is resized, the Lock and Co will see less head time for sure. I'm all for waiting out a clean and inexpensive one that's a size down and resizing it. You'll have to get a non-original sweat, and would likely have to tack on a non-original crown ribbon but that just gives it more personality =)

Yup! Had that done to a few classics I own and personalized them! However, seeking a size down that is inexpensive is a are find. Especially in the gray color. Just purchased a Navy Lock &Co. The liner had seen better days and the sweat was 'there' but I simply removed the liner and sporting' it as is. The felt is amazing!

am just trying to figure out what hats to bring to england on vacation, my sterkowski's crease and general (has been rained on umpteen times) look is pishing me off so remodelled it with steam, this has a 2.5" brim, now has front (to the back of the bow knot) and back dents and the crown is 5" where they meet from 4.5" front and back.

So true. The 7 1/8 - 7 3/8 range is in high demand. You gotta post pics of that Lock & Co! I haven't seen an antique one in navy pop up on the bay yet so now I'm jealous you spotted it =)
