Carried my Gannon fedora in the auto and wore it this evening at a backyard barbecue and as I left I put it on. Wearing it ever since. Lovely lightweight hat.

I ran out to get freshly roasted coffee this morning in a Cordova Cap (linen).

Home, sipping coffee and burning Pine boughs and a couple logs. Changed to a vtg. Adams thin ribbon for this yard work.

Before 6:00am I headed out to have breakfast with a brother. A cap was my headgear.

Home again and puttering about the yard I changed to a fedora for shade with the sun at an annoying acute angle. A VS fedora (moss green) was my morning choice.

My "sleepy eyes" are in the past.

I had done some research on the hat shop J. & L. when preparing for my book that never came to fruition
I don't think they were around through the 50s ... if I am not mistaken they were gone by the mid 50s
not a whole lot of info on them but I did speak to some people who had shopped there.
there were quite a few hat shops in Trenton
I believe there is an Aromatherapy place there now
