Thanks for the concerns and well wishes, folks. Everyone survived down here. There were a few injuries reported west of town, but thankfully no loss of life.

Here's a pic of what's left of a local liquor store that shows just how crazy tornadoes can be. Notice how the store is completely gone, but none of the bottles on the shelf are even turned over.

Here also is a pic of the Royal Stetson that's riding with me. I'm wearing my dirty work cap this morning, but I'll need a proper hat for later this afternoon when the work is done.

I'll have to check this one out in detail! Love the classic lines.

Whodathunkit. Coffee in the yard this morning was actually a jacket affair. With a 3X Open Road,

Sound s like the next couple of mornings could actually be coat weather with lows around 50. I ain't complainin'.

Because that also means a couple of good felt hat days.

Enjoy your Saturday,
Michael

View attachment 77598 View attachment 77599 Too hot today for felt. I accidentally posted this in the new hats thread as well, lol. Sorry about that. Stetson Norwood Panama today.

I do like the lines on the Norwood. Great weave. Love the bumble bee tie!

Likely to be a multi hat day, but my morning is starting out with this beaver brand 5X .

Great look on that Beaver Brand. Is it 50s vintage?

Thanks! It's a modern run-- probably was new around 7-10 years ago. I have a handful of these modern BB hats that tend to come out in the summers because I enjoy the slightly crude elements of the felt, but still were better quality than some mass production hats.
